08. + 09.02.2013 Camps Bay - Böju
Unseren letzten Tag hier in Südafrika begann ich um 9 Uhr indem ich 2
Traumstränden entlang rannte, die mit riesigen Steinblöcken verziert sind -
traumhaft! Direkt am Meer merkt man an der Luft, die einem entgegen bläst, wie
kalt das Wasser sein muss...
Our last day here in South Africa I started at 9 am
running along 2 dream beaches, which were tooled with huge rocks - divine!
Directly at the ocean I could feel how cold the water must be because of the
cool wind blowing its temperature towards me...

Um 10 Uhr begaben wir uns zum Frühstück mit fantastischer Aussicht aufs
Meer und begannen es mit einem Glas Champagner um unseren genialen Urlaub
gebührend abzurunden. Man konnte sogar gegrilltes Straussensteak bestellen,
aber das liessen wir dann doch bleiben! ; )
At 10 am we sat at breakfast with a fantastic view
of the ocean and started it with a glass of champagne to round off our genius
holidays appropriately. You could even order grilled ostrich steak but we gave
it a miss! ; )

Danach räumten wir unser Zimmer und verdauten unser Frühstück am Pool...
Mann, war das heiss! Zum Glück war das kalte Wasser im Pool eine wirkliche
Abkühlung! Wir verbrachten fast den ganzen Nachmittag an einem der Pools im
Schatten... Darauf wurde mein Koffer in ein Duschzimmer gebracht wo ich mich
für die Heimreise etwas frisch machen konnte. Auch hier wieder ein Service
ohnegleichen wie überall hier in Südafrika, das bezüglich Freundlichkeit und
Service unschlagbar ist - und das zu Preisen die für uns eher günstig sind!
Thereafter we cleared our room and digested our
breakfast at the pool... gosh, how hot it was! Fortunately the cold water of
the pool was a real cooling! We spent almost the whole afternoon at one of the
pools in the shade... Thereafter my suitcase was brought to a shower room and I
could refresh myself a bit for the journey home. Here again we encountered an
unprecedented service like everywhere here in South Africa, which is unbeatable
in terms of friendliness and service - and priced absolutely reasonably!

Bevor wir um 17 Uhr Richtung Waterfront fuhren setzten wir uns noch für
ein letztes Glas Champagner in eine der Strassenbars und liefen kurz den
wunderschönen Strand entlang.
Before we headed the Waterfront at 5 pm we went for
a last glass of champagne in one on the street bars and quickly walked along
the beautiful beach.

Als wir in der Waterfront ankamen, kauften wir erst einmal ein paar
Rindsfilets für zuhause ein, die hatten wir vor einer Woche schon gesichtet! ;
) Danach genossen wir in einem der Restaurants Sushi und einen herrlichen
(unüberparfümierten!) Chardonnay-Pinot Noir...
Die Fahrt zum Flughafen und das Einchecken waren nicht weiter
spektakulär und alles lief wie am Schnürchen zu dieser späten Stunde. Wir
trafen auch die Bühlers am Flughafen, die auf derselben Maschine in die Schweiz
zurückflogen. Um 23:45 Uhr starteten wir in Kapstadt und kamen gut
ausgeschlafen (ich hatte 3 Sitze für mich!) pünktlich um 10 Uhr in Zürich an,
wo unsere Tochter Melanie uns schon bei Schneefall und Temperaturen von – 5 Grad
erwartet!

When we arrived at the waterfront we first went to buy some tenderloin to bring home which we had spotted one week ago! ; ) Thereafter we enjoyed sushi and a terrific (not over-perfumed!) Chardonnay-Pinot Noir in one of the restaurants...
The drive to the airport and the check-in wasn't
spectacular at all and went like clockwork at this late hour. We also met the
Bühlers at the airport who were on the same flight back to Switzerland. At
11:45 pm we took off from Cape Town and arrived well and good rested (I had 3
seats for myself!) on time at 10 am in Zürich where our daughter Melanie was
already awaiting us with snowfall and temperatures of – 5 centigrade!
