05.02.2013 Hermanus – Gordon’s Bay
Da wir gestern relativ früh schlafen gingen
war ich dementsprechend früh auf heute Morgen... ich aktualisierte meinen Blog
und um 8 Uhr joggte ich schon der wunderschönen Küste entlang. Ein weiterer
sonniger und bereits schon sehr warmer Tag kündigte sich an! Nach einer
erfrischenden Dusche machten wir uns auf zum Frühstück. Dann war wieder Packen angesagt...
Because
we had quite an early night last night I woke up early in the morning today....
I updated my blog and went for a long run along the gorgeous coast at 8 am.
Another beautiful and already very warm day announced itself! After a
refreshing shower we went for breakfast and then once again it was time to pack
our suitcases...

Um 11 traten wir die kurze Strecke von ca. 80
km Richtung Westen nach Gordon's Bay an. Wir fuhren alles der Küste entlang,
auf der linken Seite der Atlantik und rechts die Berge - atemberaubend!
At 11 am
we started our short journey of today of about 80 km direction west to Gordon's
Bay. We drove all along the coast, on the left hand the Atlantic and on the
right the mountains - breathtaking!

Eine Stunde später erreichten wir die Pinguinkonie
in Betty's Bay. Natürlich liessen wir es uns nicht entgehen diese lustigen
Gesellen aus der Nähe zu betrachten!
An hour
later we reached the penguin colony in Betty's Bay. Of course we didn’t miss
the chance to watch those jolly fellows from close up!

Eine weitere Stunde später kamen wir in
Gordon's Bay an, wo wir zuerst einen herrlichen und starken Espresso in einem
der Restaurants an der False Bay genossen. Um 14:30 Uhr checkten wir im
stilvollen Oceana Palms Luxury Guest House (http://www.oceanapalms.co.za) ein, wo uns die
liebenswerte Tania begrüsste und uns in unser fantastisches Zimmer mit Blick
über die ganze Bucht begleitete.
Another hour
later we arrived at Gordon's Bay where we first had a strong and nice espresso
in one of the many restaurants at the False Bay. At 2:30 pm we checked in the
stylish Oceana Palms Luxury Guest House (http://www.oceanapalms.co.za) where lovely Tania welcomed us and
showed us our fantastic room overlooking the whole bay.

Nachdem wir uns in unserem riesigen Zimmer für 2 Nächte installiert hatten, machten wir es uns auf einem Liegestuhl auf der Dachterrasse bequem. Es war zwar ziemlich heiss, aber mit dem frischen Wind absolut auszuhalten...
After having installed ourselves in our spacious room for 2 nights we went up to the sun roof to relax in a deckchair. It still was very hot but with the fresh wind it was bearable.

Nach einem entspannenden Bad in unserer
Whirlwanne fuhren wir ins Restaurant Harbour Lights am Hafen von Gordon's Bay
und endlich verspeiste ich meinen langersehnten Crayfish (Languste) - mmmhhhhh!

After a
relaxing bath in our whirl tub we drove to the restaurant Harbour Lights at the
harbour of Gordon's Bay and finally I had my much longed for crayfish (lobster)
- mmmhhhhh!
